Our Story

Born in the OC.
Built in Beirut.

OC BUNS started as a craving we couldn't shake. Not for just any burger — for the California smash. Double-stacked, lacey-edged, barely holding itself together between two soft brioche halves. The kind you stumble across at a strip mall on a Tuesday afternoon with no line, no hype, and somehow the best thing you've eaten all year. That's the food culture we grew up on. When we came back to Beirut, nothing came close.

So we built it ourselves — obsessively. Every beef patty is fresh 80/20, smashed hard on a 450°F steel griddle until the edges crisp and the centre barely holds. Every chicken is brined overnight in seasoned buttermilk, twelve hours minimum, before it meets oil. The brisket goes in low and slow for thirteen hours until it collapses under its own weight and pulls apart with nothing more than a fork.

We're a ghost kitchen — by design. No front-of-house overhead means every dollar we save goes directly into the ingredients you actually taste. 100% halal. Zero shortcuts. No compromises. Not because we have to. Because anything less wouldn't be worth your time — or ours.
